The Farmyard Nursery is a family favourite at the ActewAGL Queanbeyan Show and has introduced thousands of children to baby animals in the 30 years it has been running.
The Farmyard Nursery is free. The young and the young at heart are able to have as many cuddles as they like.
Bring your camera as it is also free to take photos on the hay bales with the animals.
You can see and pat lambs, piglets, ducklings, chickens and turkeys. We cannot compete with Chris the sheep and his world record breaking fleece but come and see how sheep are shorn. There will be regular shearing demonstrations across the weekend. You may also take some of the wool home.
The Farmyard Nursery is located in the Old Cattle Shed adjacent to the horse arena.
