The pavilion is a quintessential part of the Australian country show. It gives locals of all ages an opportunity to show their talents in a huge variety of areas from photography to cookery.

There is an opportunity to win the title of the most successful exhibitor in the pavilion and this is always a hotly contested title. Men have a special opportunity in the cake section with the ‘best cake made by a man not using packet mix’ which draws many entries. Preschools, Primary Schools and High school can also compete across a number of categories. In the School Produce Challenge children grow their own vegetables at school and have an opportunity to win a perpetual trophy and prize money for their school.
